Can you give two hours to help preserve funding for UC?

Restore Public Education: Yes on prop 30

By raising taxes on wealthy Californians, Proposition 30 will provide new revenue to preserve the state’s education and public safety.

If approved by voters, the measure will prevent drastic cuts that would prompt staff layoffs, raise student fees and decimate University programs and services.

But shady out-of-state donors recently dumped millions into fighting the measure, and current opinion polls show the race tightening.

You can help.

Even if you have never volunteered in a political campaign before, your time can make a real difference.

UPTE and CWA members across the state are volunteering at evening phone banks and weekend precinct walks. Joining us for even two hours will help us gain crucial votes to preserve UC and its mission.  You can even call from home.

Please e-mail today and we will connect you to an effort near you.

If you haven’t yet signed an authorization card saying that you support UPTE for administrative professional employees, now is the time. If you want more information, please visit our website or contact us.  Check us out on Facebook!
